Christy Allman

An East Texas Native growing up in San Augustine and graduating with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University, Christy Allman has a deep love for these Piney Woods and the communities that surround them. It was in her last year, at SFASU Christy met and married Shane Allman, also an SFA alum with an active career as a Professional Tournament Angler.

Moving to Rayburn Country at that time, Christy taught Jr. High science in Jasper. She and Shane welcomed their first child, Samantha “Sam” in 2004, and then she left teaching upon the expected arrival of their second child Cameron “Cami” in 2006. Shane had then been in Lake Real Estate for 3 years, and Christy soon joined forces with him forming the Allman Team – a successful sales team utilizing each other’s strengths and eventually inspired the opening of Allman Company, REALTORS.

Shane and Christy’s goal was to form a company that was based on their Christian values and ethics therefore providing an unparalleled service in the lakes area. Christy now acts as the Business Manager and Marketing Director for the company. She and Shane are active members of New Hope Baptist Church in Milam. Christy says she especially loves getting the opportunity to spend time with her family and do a lot of that coaching/watching their daughters’ softball games.
